In our transformative journey over the past thirty four years, Apollo Hospitals has seen many milestones, set new benchmarks and pioneered into uncharted territory. The spirit of innovation and discovery has been our constant. Today, Apollo has touched the lives of over 37 million people who came to us from 120 countries and honored us with their trust. We are amongst the world’s most trusted and influential integrated healthcare providers.
When we started in 1983, all we had was a crystal clear vision and a committed team of just twenty-five. When this is juxtaposed with all that we have achieved in three decades we are humbled by our blessings and inspired by our scale. But scale is just a mere statistic unless it can be tapped to drive great benefit and great transformation. At Apollo, this has been our clear goal; and now leveraging our immense reach and scale is hardwired into our core DNA, our mission.
We launched Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited (AHLL) with the objective to further our focus on the integrated healthcare model we pioneered. The aim of the integrated approach was to augment our strength and capability at each touch point of the healthcare delivery chain, and Apollo Clinics – the flagship product of AHLL was envisioned to play a pivotal part. Through the vast network of clinics, pharmacies and diagnostic centers, Apollo etched the blueprint to take quality healthcare and our trademark expertise closer to the neighborhoods.
Since its inception, AHLL has demonstrated an accelerated impact. The offering has become synonymous with deep domain experience and clinical excellence. AHLL had been defined by its commitment to make quality, cost-effective healthcare accessible to the local communities.
AHLL has been successful in reassuring neighbourhood communities that the best medical help is available in the vicinity and can be accessed in the shortest period of time. Multiple focused entities – Apollo Clinic, Apollo Cradle, Apollo Spectra, Apollo Sugar, Apollo Diagnostics, Apollo White Dental – helps patients get well, get healthy, and get their life back to normal as quickly as possible.
The future is even more promising, and more exciting. In our next chapter of transforming the Indian healthcare ecosystem, AHLL will play a vital role. The Apollo Group has a clear agenda for India, which is to take the best quality healthcare to a billion Indians and catalyze a movement that will get the entire nation fighting fit. An ambitious journey of this kind needs a deep drill down across the length and breadth of the Country. The robust network that we have built with our clinics and pharmacies will be invaluable in disseminating the tenets of healthy living to communities, and jump starting this monumental march.
Our mission for the future requires complete commitment and agile thinking. This initiative by the AHLL to converge and consolidate its various skill sets and offerings into one consistent focal point is imperative to drive the momentum we seek.
